Rangatata

The Rangatata was the only river name I knew in NZ before leaving and oddly enough it was the first river Amy and I went to try on our own. Supper kayak nerds will know this as the river and original stomping grounds of Nikkie Kelly so I was pretty excited. we arrived at dust and went to the rafting outfitter in the area and they were sweet and let us camp on their lawn and use their cooking stuff. We all drank some beer and talked carnage all evening. the next day we got a ride to the put in with the rafters and enjoyed a few laps on the river in the afternoon, here are the pics.
